Now starts the dangerous trip across the sea
Will he make it, or will the waves pull down, down, down?
He risked it all for those that he left behind
But in his spirit he'll be with them forever now

He made it to the shore
though battered and real sore
He does what he has to
to survive
Never duckin down or bowin out
He always holds his chin up high

He didn't ask for help and he didn't need it anyway
He sent it all to his family back at home
He had no fear especially that of death
he lived his live til there was nothin left
And he had no regrets when he passed away

Cuz what happens?
What happens to us when we die?
I don't think anyone really knows
